 UFC veteran Jason Tan and BJJ expert Alexandre ‘Xandinho’ Izidro engaged hard in a fight that would continually shift bias throughout.  Tan left his mark under the right eye of Izidrio and almost finished the fight by way of armbar in the second. Undeterred, Izidrio switched gears in the third, opting to trade, and was getting the better of the exchanges – a close call, but Tan earned a hard-fought decision.

Heavyweight Tom Blackledge tore through Premyslaw Mysiala with unnerving ease en route to the Cage Gladiators heavyweight belt. Starting off in brutal fashion with two devastating roundhouse kicks to signal his intent – the second of which lifted Mysiala clean off his feet and sent him tumbling to the ground – Blackledge wasted no time in closing distance on his adversary to rain down brutal elbows, opening a nasty cut on the eyebrow for the stoppage, a mere 95 seconds into the bout.

Welterweight charger Paul Kelly worked his patented ground and pound attack on the tough but wild Jordan James forcing a stoppage at 2.40 of the second having secured an inescapable crucifix, and Jay Gladden submitted Kieron McKintee with a beautiful choke after an excellent display of Muay Thai skills, showing that he is no one-trick pony and clearly one to watch. 

In other action Paul Sass succumbed to the triangle of David Johnson, while Rob Sinclair managed to KO Richie Downes on the ground with a measured attack. Rob’s brother Mick Sinclair submitted Soli Clichko via side choke, Tom Baxter laid a solid guillotine on Denzil Thomas for the tap and Jay Kieron laid a ground and pound clinic on Svajanus Siaucila.
