When Michael Bisping fought Elvis Sinosic at UFC 70 in Manchester, he was competing in front of over 14,000 of his fans. Every single person in that arena knew who he was, thanks to the aggressive and highly effective marketing campaign the UFC had performed in the weeks running up to the event. 

But nobody quite expected this to happen. After spending the entire first round pounding the living daylights out of Elvis, Bisping caught a knee to the chin that dropped him, and the Australian grappler proceeded to try to finish the fight by wrenching Bisping’s arm off. The English fighter gritted his teeth and fought his way out before dramatically finishing the fight via ground and pound.
