SATURDAY 2ND

Gets behind the broadcaster’s desk on Fuel TV for the pre and post-fight shows. Responds to Yushin Okami calling him out in a post-fight interview: “Get to the back of the queue,” he retorts. Driving home after the show, Bisping witnesses a car crash, prompting him to plead with his fans to “drive carefully.”

MONDAY 4TH

Begins his UFC 159 training camp, in preparation for his fight against Alan Belcher, with strength and conditioning coach Scot Prohaska. Does some Muay Thai later and ends the day with an MMA sparring session. “Sparring is the best bit about training camp, :)” he tweets.

WEDNESDAY 6TH

Records a comical video in response to a bet proposition posted online by UFC 159 opponent Belcher. “April 27th, UFC 159, you’re getting knocked out,” says the always outspoken British middleweight, indicating he intends to stand and bang with ‘The Talent.’

FRIDAY 8TH

Has another hard day of sparring with three tough training partners before taking a trip to the Honda Center with his son to watch hockey, as the Anaheim Ducks manhandle the Calgary Flames 4-0.

SATURDAY 9TH

Begins his day with another gruelling strength and conditioning workout. Spends his evening watching his son play in a soccer match, posting online that it’s a, “Gr8 way to finish an awesome weeks training.”

SUNDAY 10th

Taking Sunday off, allowing his body to rest and recover after his first week of camp, he chills out by catching up on season two of Homeland and watching the latest episode of The Walking Dead. Is unimpressed by the latter show, tweeting, “Another disappointing episode.”

MONDAY 11TH

Having taken some Z-Quill before bed the night before, wakes up feeling drowsy and is late for his first strength and conditioning session of the week. Hits pads and spars later, and battles with the lid of a minced garlic container. He finally manages to open it and proudly posts a photo online.

WEDNESDAY 13TH

He’s followed by the UFC film crew as they record his training for the UFC 159 Countdown show. Enjoys a hearty meal of chicken and veg, and a sneaky bowl of ice cream. Finishes the day with the first episode of Dexter, based on fans’ recommendations. Tweets: “Dexter looks like a cross between Forrest Griffin and Jake Ellenberger.”
