Issue 020
January 2007
The London Fight Factory, managed by Luiz “Manxinha” Ribeiro, opened this summer and offers a range of disciplines including boxing, Brazilian jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling, capoeira and kung fu. Students are welcome regardless of if they are male, female, complete beginners or experienced competitors.
All instructors at the London Fight Factory are also skilled fighters, who have been training for many years, but most importantly are also great teachers who aim to ensure students achieve their goals. These may range from gaining enough experience to fight in the cage, to simply learning some self defence techniques and improving fitness levels.
The Factory is always a friendly and professional place to learn, and facilities include weights, punch bags, a boxing ring and a large matted area. We also hope that our timetable (which includes lunchtime classes in Brazilian jiu Jitsu, where people can participate in the whole lesson or drop in and train for as long as they can) ensures that more people get the chance to train regularly.
For more information check out our website at www.londonfightfactory.net or come and visit – the gym is only ten minutes from Liverpool Street Station, and three minutes from Brick Lane.
