Saturday 10th

After recently packing up and moving to Los Angeles from his homeland of Brazil, Lyoto is settling into life on the West Coast, enjoying a fine Saturday in California.

Monday 12th

Morning exercises start every day at the UFC Gym in LA; including BOSU squats. Giving him the stability he needs to use his unorthodox striking.



Tuesday 13th

Joins the fight against prostate cancer by displaying his moustache as part of ‘Movember’ month, raising awareness for charity.

Wednesday 14th

Takes to Twitter to let fans know that it’s the only social media site with an official account for ‘The Dragon,’ as there is a fake account on Instagram and his Facebook has been hacked.



Saturday 17th

Sitting cageside with longtime friend and training partner Anderson Silva at UFC 154 in Toronto, Canada, Machida tweets: “GSP is fighting Tonight on Combate channel and if he beats Condit he will fight Anderson Silva #UFC154.”



Sunday 18th

Taking in some of the sights of Canada, Lyoto stops for lunch with Anderson and manager Jorge Guimaraes in Montreal.



Monday 19th

Pictured on set for the last day of filming for new movie Tapped, an upcoming MMA flick inspired by The Karate Kid.




Thursday 22nd

After finishing his filming duties in Toronto he takes his family skiing for the Thanksgiving holiday period and shows off his turkey-carving skills with Anderson.

Sunday 25th  

Lyoto returns home to LA just as a commercial for Head and Shoulders shampoo hits screens in his native Brazil, featuring him punching the dandruff from the head of a patron in a barbershop.
