Paul Daley is one of the UK’s hottest young welterweights. Still in his early twenties, he has appeared on promotions in the US and UK. A noted kickboxer, his latest fight was against Dave Strasser at Cage Rage 16, where he dismantled the UFC veteran in impressive style.

Recently it’s been T.I’s new album THE KING.

Your favourite band invites you on stage to sing a song of your choice- who are they and what would it be?

Destinys Child and I’d be singing (to Beyonce) 50 cents “A little bit”!

What do you do when you’re not punching people in the face?

Training to punch people in the face.

What would you put in your refrigerator if “Cribs” was coming round?

A few cheap bottles of Tesco Champagne, and dress them up like Moet.

You just won the world championship title in your weight division- describe your ultimate after-party.

Would have to be a Las Vegas “Bender”. 48hrs of fun and frolics, chicks and alcohol.

You’ve got a bottomless pot of money and the pick of any fighter in the world- what fight would you match make and why?

Chuck Liddell vs Rampage rematch, I think Chuck is much better/fitter than when he lost to Rampage, and Rampage make fights entertaining. Would be a war.

What the best thing that’s happened to you since being a fighter?

Making a two-times UFC veteran and veteran of over 40 international fights look like an amateur.

Of all the professional fighters you’ve met, who stands out the most?

Minotauro, he’s such a humble dude.

If you could choose anyone at all, living or dead, what celebrity or well-known person would you have a coffee or a beer with?

Dalai Lama of Tibet, but I don’t think he drinks beer.

What kind of car do you drive?

The No27 Bus and motivation Taxi’s firm, gotta wait til I get my licence back, then ask me this question again.

If you were elected president, what kind of scandal about you would come out and bring down your administration?

Scary to think, too much. Let’s not talk about this.
