Phoenix International Academy of Mixed Martial Arts
Phoenix Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Newcastle-upon-Tyne is a purpose built training academy. It is fully equipped and includes a boxing ring, punch and kicking bags, weight training facilities and protective equipment for beginners. It also has comfortable changing rooms with showers.
Phoenix Martial Arts Academy is a unique Martial Arts and Fitness Centre, situated in the Ouseburn Valley in Newcastle upon Tyne.
The new venue boasts 3,500 sq ft of floor space with 1,500 sq ft of prototype Mixed Martial Art matting. It has a fully equipped gym and equipment including gloves, focus mitts and kick shields for beginners.
According to Phoenix Mixed Martial Arts is a great way to help improve general fitness levels and a range of mobility, and it will also helps with discipline, self-confidence and self-respect. Phoenix Academy caters for all ages between 4 and 65 and runs special classes for children, Phoenix Kids.
The tuition provided is undertaken by some of the North East’s most innovative and dynamic instructors and also provide 1 to 1 training. They offer an internationally recognised and comprehensive syllabus along with grading opportunities.
With a choice of over 15 classes per week and the opportunity to attend regular seminars with renowned instructors, training is available in eight different arts from around the globe. Competition opportunities at amateur, semi pro and professional levels are also available.
Training is available in kickboxing, Thai Boxing, Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Japanese/Traditional Jiu-jitsu, Kali Blend, Phoenix Self Defence and Vale Tudo
All of the arts are taught by qualified professionals and cater for all ability levels. Wether you like Kicking, punching, trapping, grappling, weaponry, sports, arts or street we have something for you!
