Three consecutive UFC knockout defeats usually means one thing: a pink slip. When you’re former middleweight champ and GOAT destroyer Chris Weidman, things are different. But there’s no denying the ‘All-American’ has hit a career low. The big question is, should he be? The New York State Athletic Commission had a strong hand in his latest defeat thanks to its disastrous handling of the stoppage in his defeat to Gegard Mousasi. Though if he’d taken much more punishment, the result may not have changed.
