It did not disappoint as the initial Cyborg storm was weathered to allow the accuracy and power of Nunes’ punches to overcome her opponent. This devastating strike which you the fans voted as 2018 Fighters Only World MMA Awards Knockout of the Year and Upset of the Year earned Nunes her very first Female Fighter of the Year award too.
This success has made a powerful case for Nunes to be regarded as the Greatest Female Fighter of all Time as well as the biggest giantkiller in the sport.
