The UFC has officially announced Frankie Edgar will get his crack at UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway.

UFC 222 will take place on March 3 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This headline fight was originally booked for UFC 218 in December but was called off when Edgar was forced to withdraw with a broken orbital bone.

Instead, Holloway comprehensively defeated Edgar’s replacement in UFC featherweight legend Jose Aldo in their rematch in Detroit.

Holloway’s third-round TKO win over Aldo at UFC 218 helped the Hawaiian be named the UFC’s “Fighter of the Year” in 2017.

Thanks to his injury, Edgar hasn’t fought since UFC 211 last May. That was a successful outing for the New Jersey native, who pummeled talented featherweight Yair Rodriguez enough to earn a second-round TKO victory.

UFC 222 is already shaping up to be an interesting card, featuring the Octagon debut of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu talent Mackenzie Dern.

The UFC 222 card so far:

(C) Max Holloway vs. Frankie Edgar – for the UFC featherweight title

C.B. Dollaway vs. Hector Lombard

Sean O’Malley vs. Andre Soukhamthath

Andrei Arlovski vs. Stefan Struve

Mackenzie Dern vs. Ashley Yoder
