The UFC awarded four post-fight bonuses following Saturday night’s event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. While the final main event of 2025 delivered a decisive stoppage that was rewarded, one highlight-reel head kick knockout was surprisingly left out of the bonus pool.
After the conclusion of UFC Vegas 112, four fighters were each awarded an additional $50,000 for standout performances inside the Octagon. The bonus recipients are outlined below.
Fight of the Night: Steven Asplund vs. Sean Sharaf
Steven Asplund made an immediate impression in his UFC debut, earning Fight of the Night honors in a hard-fought heavyweight clash with Sean Sharaf. Asplund showcased impressive conditioning and sustained offense, steadily wearing down Sharaf before securing a standing TKO late in the second round. Sharaf had moments of success and forced Asplund to dig deep, particularly in the second frame, but Asplund’s pace ultimately proved decisive. Both fighters collected their first UFC performance bonuses, adding a financial boost to close out the year.
Performance of the Night: Kevin Vallejos
Kevin Vallejos capped off a breakout rookie year with the most significant win of his career, finishing veteran striker Giga Chikadze in the co-main event. The stoppage marked the first knockout loss of Chikadze’s professional career, elevating the impact of Vallejos’ performance. Picking up 3 wins inside the Octagon in 2025, Vallejos opened his UFC tenure with a stoppage victory and closed it by earning his first post-fight bonus following a brutal spinning back fist knockout.
Performance of the Night: Manel Kape
The final contest of 2025 ended in emphatic fashion as Manel Kape needed less than one round to dispatch Brandon Royval. A perfectly timed right hand sent Royval crashing to the canvas, bringing a swift conclusion to the night and potentially positioning Kape for a future flyweight title shot. The finish earned Kape his third career UFC bonus and closed the year in style.
