Francis Ngannou’s huge KO at UFC 218 takes the prize.

Was there ever any doubt? From the moment Francis “The Predator” Ngannou’s mighty left uppercut made contact with the chin of Dutch fighter, Alistair Overeem, this was destined to be Knockout of the Year. After all, Overeem, a former K-1 Heavyweight World GP champion, ranked as the Cameroonian slugger’s toughest opponent up to that point in his career. But this only seemed to inspire Ngannou who stayed in the pocket, narrowly missing with a right hook, before setting himself up perfectly for the memorable coup de grace, less than two minutes into the opening round.
