Spare a thought for Devin Powell, who ended up in surgery thanks to a Joe Lauzon knee in his nether regions.
The training injury – which Lauzon protested was an innocent accident – left the UFC lightweight with a ruptured testicle, requiring him to be rushed to hospital to have his valuables repaired and a blood clot drained.
Lauzon endured a three-fight losing streak before winning against Johnaton Pearce subsequently.
