Purple taps black belt in a great comeback win Cole Miller SUB3 Jorge Gurgel.

Back in the last decade, before Fight Pass and televised prelims, your (legal) options for watching UFC undercard fights were limited. You either had to be in the arena, hope there was time to fit some on the pay-per-view broadcast or pay to watch them on the UFC Vault online.

“Nothing tops the Jorge Gurgel fight at UFC 86,” Miller told. “That fight was my best moment in mixed martial arts. I tore my knee in the first round, I was lacerated in three spots, and had

some health issues the day before that looked very grim. The fact that I was able to fight and submit a Brazilian jujitsu black belt –and a very good one – that was my greatest moment.”

STEP 2

Miller rolls to mount to try and finish, but his opponent turns back to his knees.

STEP 3

‘Magrinho’ switches to his back, finds an angle and pulls down on the head to get the tap.
