Kazushi Sakuraba earns his final MMA victory.
Kazushi Sakuraba took a beating from Zelg Galeši? at Dream 12. While his hands were busy fighting for a leg lock, he left himself defenseless to an avalanche of punches, but drew upon all of his spirit, endurance and skill to persevere, adjust and force his opponent to tap in agony to a kneebar. It was another reminder that the future UFC Hall of Famer, at 40 years old, was prone to taking a ton of damage. In hindsight, this come-from-behind classic would have been the perfect opportunity to hang up his gloves, but he fought on. Sadly, he never won another fight and took huge amounts of punishment in the years to come.
