Add some power to your wrestling with this blast-double-leg takedown.
Trainer: Kenny Johnson is an MMA Champion trainer specializing in some of the greatest wrestling techniques of the fight game.
1 - Kenny feints or strikes to get Pedro to back off into the ideal position and range to shoot for a takedown.
2 - Kenny shoots, driving his forehead into Pedro’s chest and catching the backs of his knees with both hands.
3 - Driving his head through Pedro’s chest and pulling his legs into him, Kenny runs forward with power.
4 - Kenny lands in Pedro’s guard and quickly posts both hands to establish a base to set up his next move.
TOP TIPS ALL-STATE
- Don’t leave your arms posted for too long and give skilled BJJ players a chance to grab one.
ALL-AMERICAN
- Try to attack when your opponent’s stance is square, so it’s easier to grab both legs.
OLYMPIAN
- As you take your opponent down, bury your head into their chest so they absorb the full force of the fall.
