Conor McGregor has made a habit of collecting belts in two weight classes
Owning two belts at once was nothing new to Conor McGregor. Before the UFC, he accessorized with gold and leather on each shoulder in Cage Warriors. Even though José Aldo and Eddie Alvarez were light years ahead of Dave Hill and Ivan Buchinger – who he beat here at CWFC 51 – in terms of talent, he arguably made his Octagon achievements look easier. However, just like in the European promotion, ‘The Notorious’ has still never defended his titles.
