Cut the corner two times to make sure you get the double-leg takedown
Wrestling techniques from the coach of more than a dozen MMA champions, Kenny Johnson – with UFC bantamweight Pedro Munhoz.
1 - Pedro throws a jab and Kenny changes levels under the punch.
2 - Kenny penetrates deep to grab the double-leg.
3 - Pedro starts sprawling and Kenny feels he is losing the position, so he starts to take his right hand to chop Pedro’s left knee.
4 - Kenny chops Pedro’s left knee to the mat, raises his right knee and lifts his head up and across Pedro’s back, circling him to the mat.
5 - Kenny continues to drive Pedro to the mat, using his head pressure and drives in a circular motion.
6 - Kenny continues the drive until he secures a dominant position in side control where he can strike or work for a submission.
