Open-fingered gloves were mandatory in Pride even though drug testing and fair fights were not.



UFC #1 - 2000

The first established Octagon glove was made by Boxergenics for the original owners, Semaphore Entertainment.



UFC #2 - 2004

There were multiple versions of the Ouano UFC glove, perfected by owner John Ouano and referee John McCarthy.



STRIKEFORCE - 2007

Using gloves made by Muay Thai gear masters Fairtex, Strikeforce was home to some of MMA’s best strikers.



WEC - 2010

Ouano also made the iconic blue gloves for World Extreme Cagefighting – featuring smaller sizes for smaller hands.



BELLATOR - 2014

The latest curved Everlast gloves used in Bellator have earned rave reviews from its heavy-hitting athletes.



UFC #3 - 2015

Century took over UFC glove production in the late ’00s and has been redeveloping them in search of perfection ever since.
