$100,000: Britain’s Tom ‘Kong’ Watson walked out of London’s Wembley Arena $100,000 richer after his come-from-behind second-round TKO over Bulgarian Stanislav Nedkov. He got $50,000 each for ‘Fight...’ and ‘Knockout of the Night’ at UFC on Fuel 7.
1:46: The seven professional bouts of UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey have lasted an average of one minute and 46 seconds.
80%: There must have been something in the Salt Lake City water when Bellator 90 rolled into town in February; 80% of the evening’s 10 bouts ended early. Five in the first round (among which was ‘King Mo’ being knocked out cold with a spinning back-fist), one in the second, and two in the third.
3: Of the three people who went into UFC on Fuel 7 in London with an undefeated record, only two left with it intact. Gunnar N2elson and Jimi Manuwa remain lossless, while Stanislav Nedkov saw his "0" go for the second time – a previous submission loss had been overturned.
2 hours, 48 minutes: UFC on Fuel 7 was the longest UFC event in history, according to FightMetric. The show’s total fight time clocked in at two hours, 48 minutes and 39 seconds.
2: Legendary referee ‘Big’ John McCarthy has refereed two of Ronda Rousey’s seven professional trips into the cage. One was her part in the historic first-ever women’s UFC bout at UFC 157 in February, and the other was her 25-second MMA debut in 2011.
9 years: There were nine years, three months and two days between UFC victories for Robbie Lawler. His most recent came at UFC 157 in February (vs Josh Koscheck), prior to that his last one was UFC 45 in November 2003 (vs Chris Lytle).
31st: UFC veteran Paul Daley notched the 31st win of his career in some style in February: a stunning walk-off flying knee knockout. The British striker stopped France’s Patrick Vallee in the second round at Cage Contender 16 in Dublin, Ireland.
