What would you like to see in MMA in the future?

KEVIN FERGUSON:

I would like to see, and be a part of, more tournaments.

DAVID RICKELS:

I would like to see continued testing from USADA in the UFC and all other promotions across the board.

RICKY RAINEY:

I wish the fighters got paid what they deserve.

PHIL DAVIS:

More fighters exploring free agency. I would love to see more fighters have better contracts and forcing organizations to bid on them.

Have you got any resolutions?

KEVIN FERGUSON:

To gain more power, more speed and more cardio.

DAVID RICKELS:

To give up social media for a while. It is warping my brain.

RICKY RAINEY:

I just continue to do the right things and be better than the year before.

PHIL DAVIS:

I probably should have one. I have room to be a more organized.

What’s your favorite MMA moment?

KEVIN FERGUSON:

When Frank Mir broke Nogueira’s arm. Me and my dad were watching that fight and we were both saying ‘Oh, no, he better tap.’

DAVID RICKELS:

I really like two of Dan Henderson’s knockouts: the Bisping KO at UFC 100 and the crazy, old-man elbow on Hector Lombard at UFC 199.

RICKY RAINEY:

When they changed the rehydration rule to early morning instead of dying all day for a late weigh-in.

PHIL DAVIS:

I loved when Fabricio Werdum fought Fedor in San Jose. That moment was special for me. It got me fired up to be a fighter.

What’s the biggest sacrifice you’ve made for your career?

KEVIN FERGUSON:

Moving away from Florida and my family. I stopped all my bad habits. I am focusing on this art and this sport.

DAVID RICKELS:

Probably giving up my presidential run in 2020 versus Kanye West. I feel I had a solid chance.

RICKY RAINEY:

Missed time with loved ones and friends.

PHIL DAVIS:

Everybody who wants to be the best sacrifices a lot of their social and family life. A lot of holidays, barbecues and parties missed.

Can Ronda Rousey ever be as dominant as she was before?

KEVIN FERGUSON:

I feel like she is afraid to get hit. She turns away from punches. If she gets her standup going then yeah, she will make a great comeback.

DAVID RICKELS:

No. Ronda can’t ever return to that invincibility guise.

RICKY RAINEY:

She could be dominant but if she’s going to break down after losing a bout like last time then no she’ll never make it back to the top..

PHIL DAVIS:

Ronda Rousey is an outlier. She is not a data point that you can ever guess about. She could come back and be even more dominant.
