Russian MMA sunk to a new low when Ramzan Kadyrov, head of the Chechen Republic, gave his three pre-teen sons their MMA debuts at World Fight Championships of Akhmat 34.

On a card that included WSOF flyweight champ Magmoed Bibulatov and former Bellator fighter ‘Frodo’ Khasbulaev, the boys – Akhmad, aged 10, Eli, nine and Adam, eight – each won their fights and a belt.

Kadyrov Sr said his youngest was ‘really a lion’ after he won his prize, but Fedor Emelianenko – said that it was ‘unacceptable’ for children this young to compete.
