The Professional Fighters League has only been in existence in its current form for five years, but the strides the company has made have been remarkable.

The organization has crowned its million-dollar world champions for the year at the 2023 PFL World Championships in Washington DC, and added a quartet of inaugural European champions at the 2023 PFL Europe Championships in Dublin.

But while the success of the PFL's first regional league – and the news of additional regional leagues for MENA and Africa, plus the arrival of the PFL's Pay-Per-View Super Fights division – has given the organization much to be proud of, their growth was supercharged with the acquisition of Bellator MMA. PFL now has a roster to rival the UFC, and has already promised a special PFL Champions vs. Bellator Champions event for early in 2024.

PFL co-founder Donn Davis says the promotion's goal is to be the sport's co-leader and, with big plans already in motion, the PFL's continued growth will be one of the stories to follow in 2024.
