Former UFC Featherweight Champion Germaine de Randamie will meet Norma Dumont at a UFC Fight Night On April 6th.
De Randamie will make the walk to the octagon for the first time in four years, after beating Julianna Pena in the third round of their contest in 2020.
Dumont joined the UFC only four fights into her professional career. Her first outing was against the vastly more experienced Megan Anderson at UFC on ESPN+ 27.
After losing in the first round to Anderson, Dumont racked up a three fight win streak but it was not without its problems.
After her fight with Anderson, Dumont faced Ashlee Evans-Smith but missed weight coming in three and a half pound over the Bantamweight limit. The fight went ahead with the Brazilian beating Evans-Smith by way of a unanimous decision
She was then set to meet Erin Blanchfield but once more missed weight, coming in at 139.5lbs for the fight- which was ultimately pulled from the card because of the weight miss.
Just one month later and she was back at it and beat Felicia Spencer with a split decision win at UFC Fight Night: Font vs Garbrandt. She then fought Aspen Ladd and beat her by way of unanimous decision
She was then matched against Macy Chiasson, once again missed weight and dropped a split decision to Chiasson.
Since then, Dumont has went on a three fight winning streak beating Danyelle Wolf, Karol Rosa and Chelsea Chandler by way of unanimous decision.
De Randamie enters the bout 11 years after she signed with the promotion.
After a win against Julie Kedzie, she was beaten by Amanda Nunes just four months later.
She then went on to beat Larissa Pacheco, Anna Elmose, Holly Holm, Raquel Pennington and Aspen Ladd to set up a rematch with Nunes at UFC 245.
It wasn't to be once more for de Randamie as she was beaten once more by Nunes.
The Dutch native will now be returning looking to establish herself as once of the top competitors when she meets Dumot on April 6th.
