While it doesn’t boast the same number of big names as Pride, Rizin Fighting Federation began to live up to its billing as the spiritual successor to the long-extinct Japanese promotion.
A fistful of freakshows, curiosities and genuinely well-made matches filled its second show of the year and delivered excitement in abundance.
No fight entertained more than Erson Yamamoto vs. Kizaemon Saiga.
A frenetic pace, flying knees and so many suplexes made this a lock in for the fight of the night.
