On Saturday night (March 23), all 13 scheduled fights will go ahead, with all 26 athletes successfully making weight.
Set for the UFC APEX, the card will feature a stack of intriguing contests which could have multiple implications in numerous weight divisions.
In the main event, 'Thug' Rose Namajunas will look to earn her place in the Flyweight rankings as she takes on the number 8 ranked Amanda Ribas. Both women came in comfortable under the 126lbs weight limit at 125.5lbs.
The co-main event will see Karl Williams face a Tafa, but not the brother he was originally slated to square off against. Williams initially was set to face Junior Tafa but when his brother, Justin, fell ill just before weighing in at UFC 298, Junior stepped in to save the day. Justin will now return the favour and will take the bout his brother lost out on after stepping up to the plate at UFC 298. Tafa will be the heaviest man to enter the octagon that night coming in at 264.5lbs whilst Williams weighed 246.5lbs.
Edmond Shahbazyan will look to return to the win column once more in his Middleweight bout against AJ Dobson. After a surging start to life in the UFC, Shahbazyan has struggled of late and finds himself 1-4 in his last 5. Dobson will be looking to build on his first promotional victory last time out against Tafon Nchukwi. Shahbazyan came in the slightly heavier of the two, weighing 186lbs to Dobson's 185.5lbs.
Bantamweight prospects Payton Talbott and Cameron Saaiman will square off in a fascinating bout. Both Dana White Contender Series alumni, Saaiman and Talbott have looked impressive in the octagon since signing in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Talbott came in at 135.5lbs whilst Saaiman hit the championship limit of 135lbs.
All of Billy Quarantillo's 9 UFC bouts have been hugely entertaining and he will be looking to add another win in his 10th promotional contest against Youssef Zalal. Zalal re-enters the octagon after some time back on the regional scene. His first spell ran from 2020-2022, where he amassed a 3-3-1 record.
In the final main card bout, Featherweights Fernando Padilla and Luis Pajuelo both came in bang on the 145lbs mark ahead of their contest.
The early preliminary bouts contain a number of eye catching fighters, with Kamaru Usman's brother, Mohammed Usman, facing the unbeaten Brit Mick Parkin kicking off the action for the night.
