Fighters Only can exclusive reveal that Alexander Loof will feature in the Cage Warriors Bantamweight Prize Fighter Tournament.

The Swedishman joins former Cage Warriors Bantamweight champion Michele Martignoni and rising contender Shirzad Qadrian as the third athlete confirmed.

The 26-year-old has only pulled on the yellow gloves once before, but what a fight it was. Loof faced Next Generation's Luke Riley in an all out war at Cage Warriors 160 and claimed Cage Warriors' 2023 Fight Of The Year.

The Prize Fighter tournament will see four athletes, with two more athletes fighting in an alternate bout, compete in two bouts in one night, with the winner taking home a $50,000 cash prize! Speaking ahead of it, Loof has his sights firmly set on winning the tournament in emphatic style. He said:

"I will enter the cage with a bank robber mindset; Quick in and quick out, with a bag full of money!

"50K long term is maybe not so much money but it will help my career (for) a lot of the years coming. And let’s say I have a hell of a story to tell my future kids. Also my girlfriend wants new kitchen chairs."

Loof is no stranger to a tough night inside the Cage Warriors cage following his bout with Riley in 2023 and is relishing the opportunity to get to compete twice in one night.

"Money is a motivation of course, but also how cool would it be to beat up 2 people in one night? I mean after that you are the baddest motherf*cker in town!

"I love this crazy idea. Let’s say go through everyone and have 2 fights in one night. The next fight I have, will feel so easy."

Loof will drop back down to 135lbs for only the third time in his career and having secured victories across three divisions, he believes his power could play a vital role in claiming the $50,000.

"I mean I punch hard as f**k. I dropped people in Bantamweight, Featherweight and even in Lightweight. I would say I’m one of the more explosive guys on the roster"
