The PFL 2024 season continued last night in Salt Lake City as the Lightweights and Light Heavyweights battles it out for their spot in the playoffs.
It could have been a dream homecoming for Clay Collard but Mads Burnell had other ideas. Over their three round affair, Burnell completely nullified the slick striking of Collard with a heavy wrestling game plan and ultimately claimed a unanimous decision win.
Impa Kasanganay went toe to toe with 2023 PFL European Champion Jakob Nedoh and following a frantic few moments towards the end of the second round, the doctor called a stop to the action deeming Nedoh unfit to continue. With the win, Kasanganay secured top seed in the Light Heavyweight rankings and moves onto the Global Playoffs.
His short time with the PFL has been a difficult one and things continued as such for Patricky Pitbull, as he was handed his second consecutive loss. After being stopped in the second round by Clay Collard in the opening round of the tournament, Pitbull then dropped a split decision loss to Bruno Miranda in Salt Lake City. However, the win for Miranda was not enough for him to secure a playoff spot.
Elsewhere on the card, there were also wins for Alex Polizzi, Brent Primus, Sadibou Sy Gadzhi Rabadanov, Adam Piccolotti and Sergio Cossio, in the 2024 tournament season.

The results mean that Impa Kasanganay will face Josh Silveira whilst Rob Wilkinson and Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov square off in the Light Heavyweight Playoff bouts. For the Lightweights, former Bellator champion Brent Primus will take on Clay Collard as Gadzhi Rabadanov faces Michael Dufort on the other side of the bracket.
