The holiday period brings a lot of fun and festivities but for fight fans, it's going to feel like an eternity until we are back to having big events each and every week.

It won't be until January 11 that the UFC is back in our lives after taking a four-week break but fortunately, things will pick up quickly after the Octagon's return.

The second UFC fight week of 2025 sees the promotion return to California for UFC 311 at the Intuit Dome on January 18.

Though this big PPV card still feels a long way out, the trailer has already dropped and it's a reminder that these match-ups will be worth the wait.

When the first numbered event of a year is headlined by the pound-for-pound king, you know that you're in for a treat as Islam Makhachev faces off with Arman Tsarukyan in a highly anticipated rematch.

The majority of the promo focuses on these two incredibly well-rounded 155-pounders who are finally set to cross paths once again.

Towards the end of the trailer, there's a spotlight shone on the co-main event as Umar Nurmagomedov challenges Merab Dvalishvili for the bantamweight title alongside a brief section for the battle between the two former light heavyweight champions on the main card.
