It was a drama filled weigh-ins ahead of UFC Denver, especially for Tracy Cortez
The fight card has been hit with a litany of late changes and pull outs but the promotion managed to secure 12 bouts for the Ball Arena on Saturday night.
Cortez initially took to the scales and weighed 126.5lbs, half a pound over the 126lbs limit. She then returned a short time later with a lock of her hair in her hand, having decided to chop some of her hair off in order to hit 126lbs.
Namajunas had no struggle making the weight, coming in at 124.75lbs at the first time of asking.
Both men in the Welterweight co main event, Santiago Ponzinibbio and Muslim Salikhov, came in at the identical weight of 171lbs.
Drew Dober managed to remain on the card when Jean Silva stepped in on short notice, following the withdrawal of Mike Davis. The pair came in at 155lbs.
The six other athletes competing on the six fight main card, Welterweights Gabriel Bonfim and Ange Loosa, Featherweights Julian Erosa and Christian Rodriguez and Middleweights, Abdul Razak Alhassan and Cody Brundage, all made their respective weights successfully and on their first attempts.
