All bouts will go ahead at tomorrow’s OKTAGON 59, with all athletes successfully making weight.
The Czech based promotion head to the Peugeot Arena, Bratislava, Slovakia for their ‘Summer Party’ with an action packed 10 fight card.
The fight night was originally set to be headlined by the highly anticipated rematch between Jonas Magard and Felipe Lima for the Bantamweight title, but following Lima’s last minute call up to the UFC, Magard will now take on Bellator veteran Josh Hill.
The card will also play host to two of the €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger quarter finals.
Now taking the main event slot, current Lightweight champion, Ronald Paradeiser faces former KSW world champion Daniel Torres in what could be the fight of the night. After defeating Attila Korkmaz by way of split decision, Paradeiser chose to fight Torres in the quarter finals.
The co-main event will see one of the biggest prospects ever to compete in the OKTAGON cage, Losene Keita, take on the supremely confident Predrag Bogdanović. In the opening round of the tournament, Keita was pushed the further he ever has been when he had a back and forth 15 minute affair with former Cage Warriors champion Agy Sadari. Although he still managed to get the unanimous decision, ‘Black Panther’ will be looking to pull out a stellar performance against Bogdanović. However, Bogdanović has other ideas, believing the Keita match up suits his fighting style perfectly.
Also featuring on the main card, the unbeaten prospect, Lucia Szabová will look to extend her perfect record to 8-0 when she takes on Aitana Álvarez in a 131lbs clash.
Topping the bill in the preliminary section of the card, Middleweights collide as Piotr Wawrzyniak tries to work his way back into the win column following a third round submission loss to Pound-for-Pound number one, Patrik Kincl at OKTAGON 54. Standing in his way of victory will be last year’s Tipsport Gamechanger finalist, Andreas Michailidis.
