OKTAGON have officially announced that flyweight champion Sam Creasey will no longer be competing at OKTAGON 63 on November 9.
The champion was set to return in Bratislava to defend his belt against Georgia's Beno Adamia in his second outing of the year.
UK veteran Creasey won the title earlier this year at OKTAGON 56 where he defeated former foe Aaron Aby to win the vacant 125-pound title.
Adamia has earned back-to-back unanimous decision wins since arriving in the promotion to secure his status as the next title challenger.
OKTAGON announced that Creasey has withdrawn from the scheduled date due to an injury and the bout will be rescheduled for a later date once the champion is healthy.
Creasey's last opponent, Wales' Aby, is set to be in action on the card when he faces former UFC contender Zhalgas Zhumagulov.
It remains to be seen whether this card will have any further announcements in regards to the potential main events at the Tipos Arena.
Fingers crossed that the injury that Creasey suffered, which hasn't been disclosed, isn't a long term setback so that he can look to make the first defence of his title in the near future in what will be the 25th pro fight of his career.
