Renato Moicano called for "easy money" and demanded respect following his performance in the main event at UFC Paris.
The Brazilian extended his winning streak to four after the doctor waved his bout with Benoit Saint Denis off before the third round got underway.
After securing an early takedown, "Money" Moicano earned a 10-8 round across all three scorecards, doing significant damage to his opponent with devastating ground and pound.
Saint Denis was able to bounce back in the second round to make the fight more competitive but the damage was already done in the opening round.
Both of the Frenchman's eyes were swelling significantly with multiple cuts, forcing the doctor to call the the fight, much to the disappointment of the French fans inside the Accor Arena.
As always, Moicano's post-fight interview produced an equally impressive performance as he insulted the French government, gave book recommendations and cut a promo for his next fight.
The grappling specialist said that next time out, he wants easier fights than "tough" opponents like Saint Denis.
In particular, he named Dan Hooker and Paddy Pimblett as two ranked fighters that are on his radar.
“Next, I want easy money,” Moicano said after the win. “Paddy Pimblett, easy money. Dan Hooker, easy money. Don’t come up with bullsh*t fights. Don’t come up with guys that are tough. I want easy fights. I just beat a hell of an athlete everybody was talking about, Benoit Saint Denis. But guess what, Money Moicano is the man tonight.”
Pimblett has since responded and the match-up makes a lot of sense considering how much both men have spoken about facing each other.
In a previous interview whilst he was in attendance at Cage Warriors 178, Pimblett said that he could return in December but wasn't sure whether Moicano would be able to make the same turnaround.
After he came through the main event relatively unscathed, we could potentially see the two larger than life personalities collide in the near future.
