The UFC returns to the Apex in Las Vegas this Saturday night where the next flyweight title challenger could be decided.

Top five ranked contenders at 125-pounds meet in the main event as the #1-ranked Brandon Royval faces the undefeated Tatsuro Taira in the #5-spot.

Royval has already been defeated by the current champion, Alexandre Pantoja, on two occasions.

"Raw Dawg" fought for the title at UFC 296, losing a unanimous decision to Pantoja before bouncing back with a split decision win over former champ Brandon Moreno.

Japanese rising star Taira has won six in a row inside the Octagon with his last victory being a main event spotlight against Alex Perez.

Along with the upcoming headliner between Moreno and Amir Albazi in November, Pantoja will be watching closely to see who he will be facing in his third title defence.

In the co-main event, middleweight staple Brad Tavares looks to get back in the win column when he faces Jun Yong Park who is in search of his eighth win inside the Octagon.

Lightweight contender Grant Dawson is set to welcome Rafa Garcia back to the cage after over a year away from competition.

Wales' Cory McKenna is back for her sixth outing under the UFC banner as she takes on Julia Polastri who replaces Polyana Viana.

Two big welterweight match-ups are also set for the card with Daniel Rodriguez facing Alex Morono and Chidi Njokuani locking horns with Jared Gooden.

Earlier on in the night, fan favourite Chris "Beastboy" Barnett is back having not fought since September of 2022 where he stopped Jake Collier.

Barnett faces Junior Tafa who replaces Waldo Cortes-Acosta and is looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats.
