Spain has been a huge talking point across the MMA world this year and BRAVE CF is set to take advantage of that this weekend.
BRAVE CF 89 on October 19 brings a first-ever world title fight to Spanish shores as the promotion arrives at the Pabellón Santiago Martín in Tenerife.
In collaboration with local promotion Fight2One, the event brings an all killer and no filler eight fight card where the super welterweight title is on the line in the main event.
Undefeated Russian Kamal Magomedov looks to keep hold of his title by maintaining his 100% finishing rate when he faces his first challenger, Brazil's Luiz Cado.
Cado comes into this fight following three wins and finishes since signing with the promotion so this should be a real test for the 11-0 champion.
The co-main event features a lightweight match-up between Spain's Jose Sanchez and Ireland's Richie Smullen.
Both men come into this fight for their promotional debuts where Sanchez will be hoping that he fairs better against Smullen than he did against another SBG Ireland fighter in Nate Kelly who he was submitted by last time out in Bellator.
A big fight at bantamweight is also set for the card as former Cage Warriors contender Daan Duijs returns to face France's Abdelmoumen Mssaate who previously faced the division's current champion, Nkosi Ndebele.
There is always exciting talent to watch on BRAVE CF events and with this card only being eight fights in total, each bout is worth picking out for one reason or another.
Following a succesful debut in Spain with BRAVE CF 75, it looks like they're here to stay in a country that remains as relatively untapped potential in MMA.
