OKTAGON 63 is a classic example of why MMA is a constantly changing and shifting sport where nothing is certain.
The promotions return to the Tipos Arena in Bratislava was recently announced with some huge fights on the card.
Since then, multiple bouts have fallen off the card including the light heavyweight and flyweight title fights that would have been two key attractions.
As a result, the promotion have attempted to pull a rabbit out of the hat by reshuffling their hand and putting together a new-look card that will take place in just over a weeks time.
The new main event will feature the return of Slovakian MMA legend Ivan Buchinger who steps in to save the day in a move that the home fans will be very happy about.
He will take on fellow lightweight contender Hafeni Nafuka who recorded a win over Arijan Topallaj at the huge event in Frankfurt on October 12.
The co-main event sees OKTAGON make the best out of a bad situation by pairing two fighters together that both lost their scheduled opponents.
Robert Pukac will now face Ammari Diedreck in a surprise match-up that should deliver on November 9.
Mate Kertesz will also face Apollo Silva on the card as another late notice addition as they meet at a catchweight due to the quick turnaround.
The card also features a pivotal flyweight match-up between former title challenger Aaron Aby and new signing Zhalgas Zhumagulov.
Wales' Aby will look to bounce back from his recent title fight loss by handing the UFC veteran a loss on his OKTAGON debut.
