Another huge title fight has been added to OKTAGON's huge end of year party on December 29 at the O2 Arena in Praha.
At OKTAGON 65, Karlos Vémola will defend his light heavyweight title against the surging Irish contender, Will Fleury.
Fleury won his debut in the promotion in April and came into the huge event in Frankfurt last month with one goal in mind.
If he could stop a top contender in Pavol Langer in impressive fashion, he would look to convince Vémola to stick around longer than his retirement plans were set for.
Fleury went on to stop Langer in just over 90 seconds and after Vémola's scheduled title defence for OKTAGON 62 fell through, this looked to be on the cards.
The two men have a history with one another also due to a previous training session between them in London 10 years ago that Fleury claims led to him getting injured with Vémola showing no signs of remorse or consideration for his sparring partner.
After defending his belt against Attila Végh in a huge rematch in June, and another rematch against "Pirát" Krištofič being cancelled due to injury, one of the biggest names in European MMA returns for what could be the final chapter of Vémola's career.
This huge title fight joins one of the biggest cards in the history of the promotion as one of three title fights.
In the main event, Ronald Paradeiser and Losene Keita will meet in the finals of the €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger tournament in a bout where the lightweight title and the #1 P4P ranking spot in OKTAGON MMA are both on the line.
Lucia Szabová also collides with Lucie Pudilová to crown a new bantamweight champion whilst Shem Rock returns to Prague in search of another show-stealing performance against Jakub Bahník.
