OKTAGON returned to Bratislava on Saturday night where a Slovakian hero emerged victorious in the main event.
Ivan Buchinger stepped up on short notice to headline OKTAGON 63 at the Tipos Arena, showing once again why he is a legend of the European scene.
The veteran survived an incredibly difficult opening round against the rising Hafeni Nafuka, drawing on all of his experience to come back and stop his opponent in the second round.
Another impressive finish on the main card came from Damien Lapilus who looks to be an exciting addition to the roster following his first round finish against František Fodor.
Zhalgas Zhumagulov also made a statement on his OKTAGON debut by dominating former title challenger Aaron Aby in the main card opener.
On the prelims, Ireland's Jack Maguire produced one of the highlights of the night with his comeback victory against Radek Roušal via submission.
