The historic KSW 100 card that took place in Poland on Saturday night was a reminder that the old guard at the top of the promotion are here to stay.
There were several impressive performances from defending world champions and of course, another statement win from Mamed Khalidov.
The 44-year old veteran showed once again that he can still hang with the next generation after handing Adrian Bartosiński his first loss via a slick armbar submission in the second round.
Long-reigning heavyweight king Phil De Fries earned a staggering eleventh succesful title defence by ending his rematch with Darko Stošić in the first round, utilising his trademark pressure and grappling to get the TKO win.
Light heavyweight champion Rafał Haratyk also produced another finish in his rematch with Marcin Wójcik where he overcame some adversity in the first round to stop him in the second.
In the night's third title fight, Robert Ruchała stopped Kacper Formela in a huge night for the interim featherweight champion who proposed to his girlfriend in his post-fight interview.
Several finishes from top contenders in their weight classes also set up some big fights for the near future, none more so than Arkadiusz Wrzosek who needed just 25 seconds to stop Matheus Scheffel and emerge as the potential next challenger for De Fries.
Andrzej Grzebyk and Piotr Kuberski also earned knockout wins in back-to-back fights across welterweight and middleweight.
