A rematch has reportedly been booked in the top 15 of the UFC's middleweight division for early next year.

It appears that Brendan Allen will look to regain some of the momentum he lost last time out by halting the win streak of Anthony "Fluffy" Hernandez.

When the UFC announced their schedule for the first quarter of 2025 during UFC 309 this past weekend, February 22 was pencilled in for a Fight Night but with no additional details.

MMA Mania's Alex Behunin is now reporting that Allen vs Hernandez 2 will take place on this date with Seattle being the planned location.

The two rising 185-pounders met each other six years ago before either of them were signed to the UFC.

Hernandez got the win on that occasion, beating Allen via a decision over five rounds to capture the vacant LFA middleweight title.

Since then, "All In" has proven himself to be one of the very best in his weight class with 12 wins in 15 Octagon appearances.

His seven-fight win streak, which included two main event victories against Paul Craig and Chris Curtis, came to an end in September when he suffered a decision loss to Nassourdine Imavov with Allen now occupying the #9-ranking.

Hernandez, on the other hand, has not been nearly as active since his win over Allen which earned him a shot on Dana White's Contender Series in 2018.

He's won seven of his nine appearances in the UFC and is currently riding a six-fight win streak with his latest performance against Michel Pereira in October securing him the #13-spot.

No fights or details are confirmed yet for February 22 though several match-ups have been reported including a featherweight bout between Edson Barboza and Steve Garcia as well as a women's bantamweight clash that pits Ketlen Vieira against Macy Chiasson.
