This past weekend's UFC Fight Night event in Macau was one of the best cards of the year with some stunning performances and incredible highlights.

However, following the latest update to the UFC rankings, the results had very little sway on the position of several top contenders.

Neither Petr Yan or Deiveson Figueiredo shifted in the bantamweight rankings following their incredible main event clash.

Yan won a dominant decision but stayed in the #3-spot whilst Figueiredo held his ground at #5.

It looks like rematches against the likes of Cory Sandhagen or Sean O'Malley could be options for "No Mercy" if he does not receive the next title shot in a rematch with Merab Dvalishvili.

At strawweight, Yan Xiaonan's incredible performance against Tabatha Ricci over three rounds also saw her remain in the same spot, currently occupying the #2-ranking.

That puts her one spot behind Tatiana Suarez and depending on when the champion Weili Zhang will be back to defend her title, we could see Xiaonan compete in a title eliminator against the likes of Suarez or Virna Jandiroba.

The biggest movement came from Carlos Ulberg who defeated Volkan Oezdemir to earn his seventh consecutive win inside the Octagon.

He climbed three places in the light heavyweight rankings to leapfrog over Johnny Walker, Oezdemir and Nikita Krylov.

The #7-ranked contender at 205-pounds called out the last man to challenge Alex Pereira for the title, Khalil Rountree Jr., who currently sits one spot above him in the top 15 making this an ideal clash of strikers next time out.

With no UFC card to look forward to this weekend, the next rankings update will likely come in the aftermath of UFC 310 on December 7 as the Octagon heads to Vegas for its final PPV offering of the year.
