After the final UFC PPV card of the year, several divisions have undergone some changes in the top 15 rankings.
The last UFC title fight of 2024 saw Alexandre Pantoja submit Kai Asakura to defend the flyweight title at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
As a result, Pantoja has now moved up two places in the pound-for-pound list which sees him tied with Leon Edwards at the #9 spot.
Despite coming up short on his UFC debut, Asakura earns his first ranking by entering flyweight at #14.
Another 125-pounder has entered the rankings with Joshua Van claiming the #15 position following his dominant performance against Cody Durden on the prelims with his opponent making way.
Shavkat Rakhmonov's victory over Ian Machado Garry in the co-main event of the evening saw him move one spot up to replace Kamaru Usman as the #2-ranked contender in the welterweight division.
He's now set to face Belal Muhammad for the welterweight title in the near future after cementing his status as the next in line.
Another undefeated contender in Russia's Movsar Evloev also shifted forwards one place to #4 following his decision win over Aljamain Sterling who remains at #9.
Evloev hasn't been the most exciting contender in the division but with only Alexander Volkanovski, Max Holloway and Diego Lopes ahead of him, he won't be denied for much longer.
Finally, Dominick Reyes also climbed one spot to hold the #11 ranking in the light heavyweight division following his stoppage win over Anthony Smith in the featured prelim.
"Lionheart" fell one place to #14 in what he said could be the final fight of his career once he has had some more time to think about his future.
