The final UFC event of 2024 is set to take place this Saturday night as the promotion returns to Tampa.
At the Amalie Arena, Colby Covington makes his return to try and halt the winning streak of Joaquin Buckley who was originally preparing to face Ian Machado Garry on this date.
"Chaos" has not fought since his title fight loss to Leon Edwards in December last year and in that time, Buckley has produced three wins including a knockout of Stephen Thompson last time out.
A win will do huge things for either man as "New Mansa" tries to secure the biggest win of his career whilst Covington looks to remind the division that he is still a top contender.
The rest of the card is jam-packed with fun fights and the co-main event between Cub Swanson and Billy Quarantillo at featherweight certainly falls into that category.
Top 15 flyweights Manel Kape and Bruno Silva clash on the main card with light heavyweight strikers Dustin Jacoby and Vitor Petrino being another must-watch.
A bantamweight contest between Daniel Marcos and Adrian Yanez along with the UFC debut of City Kickboxing's Navajo Stirling who faces Tuco Tokkos also receive main card spots.
The prelims on offer are also worth highlighting from top to bottom but if there's a few that stand out, Drakkar Klose vs Joel Alvarez, Miles Johns vs Felipe Lima and Davey Grant vs Ramon Taveras should all deliver great watches.
We might be closing out the year early and with a Fight Night card but between the depth on this card and the fans in Tampa, this could end up being an event that is stacked with highlights throughout.
Rounding out with a match-up between two of the welterweight division's boldest characters adds some major stakes to this card as the Octagon makes its final stop of 2024 on December 14th.
