The PFL is gearing up for a huge event early on in the new year with the Road To Dubai Champions Series debuting on January 25.

In the main event, Ireland's Paul Hughes will challenge the undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov for the Bellator lightweight title.

The fight has been marketed as the second chapter in Ireland vs Dagestan which stems back to UFC 229 where Khabib Nurmagomedov successfully defended the UFC lightweight belt against Conor McGregor in the biggest fight in the history of MMA.

With that in mind, two more Ireland vs Dagestan match-ups have been added to the card which takes place at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

In the featherweight division, the undefeated Khasan Magomedsharipov will take on SBG Dublin's Nathan Kelly in a fantastic contest.

The younger brother of former UFC featherweight contender Zabit Magomedsharipov, Khassan has built a perfect 10-0 record at just 24-years old.

With five consecutive wins in Bellator, he will look to stop a fighter that has also won his last 10 in a row.

Ireland's Kelly lost the first two fights of his pro career but has turned things around in style and after being deserving of a step-up for some time now, he's certainly got that on January 25.

Another incredibly exciting undefeated rising contender is also set to represent Dagestan when the 8-0 Ibragim Ibragimov returns.

The Manchester Top Team fighter is coming off of a win at PFL's Battle of the Giants event and will now face Kenny Mokhonoana.

Another member of SBG Dublin, the Irishman lost his last fight to another promising talent in Wales' Josh O'Connor but at 5-1, he has already shown his potential by earning back-to-back wins in Bellator before his first setback.

Vadim Nekmov has also received a new opponent for his next outing at heavyweight and it's a familiar face for him.

The Russian has shared the cage with Corey Anderson twice already during his time at light heavyweight where after their first fight ended in a no contest, he secured the decision win in the rematch.

Anderson, who is now the Bellator light heavyweight champion, will be moving up a weight class for this fight to try and get some revenge over his former foe.
