KSW is heading to France for one of the last major MMA events of 2024 as the promotion arrives at the París La Défense Arena.
On December 20, Nanterre will host KSW 101 and the return of one of the top French fighters in the world today.
Salahdine Parnasse is back in the main event to defend his lightweight title against his fellow Frenchman, Wilson Varela.
The two-weight world champion recently got back in the win column with a lightweight title defence against Valeriu Mircea which he ended in the first round back in April.
Parnasse is now set to take on the 12-5 Varela who has won four consecutive fights in KSW, including performance bonuses for his first round finishes over Gracjan Szadzinski and Sebastian Rajewski.
Varela is certainly a legitimate threat to Parnasse's throne even with how impressive the champion has been in his recent fights.
In the co-main event, Polish staple Marcin Held will take on France's Davy Gallon in a big lightweight contest.
Gallon will be making his debut in the promotion following a run of six fights in Bellator and he is a very experienced competitor on the European scene.
The same can be said for the former UFC/Bellator/PFL veteran Held who has gone 1-1 since joining KSW in December of last year.
Belgium's Alain Van De Merckt will also be making his KSW debut on this card after the 8-0 middleweight signed to the promotion from LFL.
He will face the 22-fight veteran Laid Zerhouni who has earned back-to-back-to-back performance bonuses in his three fights under the KSW banner.
Another top French name in Alex Lohore is also back on this card as he takes on Poland's Artur Szczepaniak.
KSW may be well known for hosting events and dominating the Polish mixed martial arts scene but with the French talent on offer here, this could easily become a regular stop for the European juggernaut.
