Another match-up has been announced for UFC 313 which is set to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 8.

We are just a few weeks away from the first PPV card of 2025 and though UFC 312 in February has a lot of details already announced, March's PPV card is yet to have a main event announced.

The card does currently feature a lot of Brazilian talent with at least one fighter from the region in each of the eight fights that have been reported thus far leading some to question why this event isn't happening overseas.

Chris Gutierrez versus Jean Matsumoto has only added to that narrative but regardless of where it takes place, this is sure to be an exciting bantamweight clash.

Marcel Dorff broke the news before both fighters confirmed the fight via their own social media channels.

Gutierrez has gone 9-3-1 since arriving in the promotion back in 2018 where he suffered a loss on his debut to Raoni Barcelos.

Following a very impressive winning streak that included a first round knockout victory over Frankie Edgar, he has alternated wins and losses as of late.

For Matsumoto, he is yet to taste defeat in his pro career having accumulated a perfect record of 16-0.

The 25-year old debuted inside the Octagon last year and he has gone on to record two impressive wins over Dan Argueta and Brad Katona before stepping into this big opportunity.
