Jack Della Maddalena believes that he can make a statement when he arrives in enemy territory on March 22.

The Aussie has been perfect thus far inside the Octagon and after having his momentum stalled, he's looking to make up for lost time.

At UFC 299 last year, JDM improved his record to 7-0 since signing with the UFC when he stopped former title challenger Gilbert Burns to advance up the welterweight rankings.

After dealing with a broken arm which led to multiple surgeries and a significant infection, his return is locked in for the O2 Arena in London where he will headline the card in one of the best non-title main events that we are sure to see in 2025.

His opponent will be the former 170-pound champion, Leon Edwards, who can bounce back from losing his title last time out by ending his opponent's win streak.

JDM recognises that "Rocky" is a tough opponent but high risk comes with a high reward and he believes that this is his moment to capitalize.

He recently appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show where he spoke about the stakes that are hanging over this highly anticipated welterweight showdown in the capital:

“I think their plan is to make this sort of a title contention fight, but I guess they never lock anything in,” Della Maddalena said. “I think it’s very much performance-based as well, in my opinion. I think if I go in there and have a close split decision over Leon and someone else has a big performance, they might put them in front of me. ...

“I want to go in there and prove a point. Prove a point that I can do to Leon what Belal couldn’t do.”
