Another bout has been confirmed to be taking place at UFC 314 where the Octagon will return to Miami, Florida on April 12.

At the Kaseya Center, Chase Hooper will try to take out another veteran of the sport when he clashes with a fellow grappling specialist in Jim Miller.

The fight was confirmed by MMA Fighting following initial reports on social media which suggested that the match-up was already on the schedule.

25-year old Hooper has grown into a legitimate contender in front of our very eyes in the UFC having debuted in the promotion back in 2019.

"The Dream" has had his fair share of setbacks after alternating wins and losses throughout his first few appearances inside the Octagon.

Following his loss to Steve Garcia in October of 2022, Hooper made the decision to move back up to lightweight and this is where he has really started to deliver on his potential.

The Washington native has now recorded four consecutive wins at 155-pounds, winning his last three via submission.

In his latest win, he tapped out Clay Guida via an armbar at UFC 310 in what would end up being the final fight in the incredible UFC career of "The Carpenter".

He is now set to take on another fighter who has likely been competing in the UFC before Hooper even knew what the initials MMA or UFC even stood for.

Jim Miller will continue to extend his record for the most bouts in UFC history when he makes his 46th walk to the Octagon.

The 41-year old is a total anomaly in this sport, having won six of his last eight fights in the promotion.

After a difficult loss to King Green at UFC 300, he bounced back and added another tally to his record for most UFC wins by submitting Damon Jackson at UFC 309 in New York.

Miller, in many ways, is the ultimate test for a young and hungry contender that is rising through the ranks of the lightweight division and that is sure to be the case for Hooper in Miami.
