A fascinating lightweight contest between two British prospects has just been added to the slate for the upcoming UFC Fight Night which takes place in London, England on March 22nd. Former Cage Warriors featherweight champion Jordan Vucenic (13-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is set for his second outing in the Octagon as he takes on Scotland's Chris Duncan (12-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) at 155 lbs.
Vucenic made his UFC debut on short notice last August against Guram Kutateladze in Abu Dhabi. While he ultimately came up short despite a spirited display against such an experienced opponent, "The Epidemic" certainly didn't look out of place on the big stage and he becomes the 9th former Cage Warriors star to be added to the UFC London lineup.
Vucenic went 9-1 in the famous yellow gloves between 2019 and 2024, picking up wins over stellar names such as Paul Hughes, Simone D'Anna and Morgan Charriere. He beat James Hendin to win the 145 lbs title in March of 2022 before losing the belt in a rematch with current PFL superstar Paul Hughes later that year.
Chris Duncan made his way into the UFC by way of a first-round knockout victory over Charlie Campbell on Dana White's Contender Series in mid-2022. "The Problem" went on to pick up wins over Omar Morales and Yanal Ashmouz inside the Octagon the following year before being submitted by Manuel Torres in February of 2024. He recovered from that setback to pick up a submission win and a 'performance of the night' bonus against Bolaji Oki at UFC Paris last September.
UFC Fight Night: London goes down at the 02 Arena in London, england on March 22nd and is set to be headlined by a five-round welterweight clash between former 170 lb champion Leon Edwards and Australian contender Jack Della Maddalena.
