One of the biggest players in the European MMA landscape, Oktagon MMA, pitches up in a new location this Saturday, as Trinec in the Czech Republic plays host to a fight card stacked with high-stakes bouts.

Championship Gold On The Line In The Main Event

Flyweight champion Sam Creasey (19-5) will look to make the first defense of the title he won in his promotional debut last April when he outpointed Aaron Aby over 25 minutes at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England.

The 37-year-old former Cage Warriors champion will face Beno Adamia (11-8-2) who has won both of his bouts under the Oktagon banner so far. Creasey believes Adamia will pose some challenges but is adamant he has what it takes to get the better of the Georgian on Saturday evening.

"He looks really good", Creasey said of Adamia in an exclusive interview with Fighters Only recently. "I've watched his fights, his boxing looks really nice. He's been around a long time. His wrestling, his grappling is a very good standard. I'm expecting him to come in there and bring it.

"I think I'm well-rounded", said the Englishman. "I don't have an area whic I figure is a weak area. I can take the fight wherever I need to, and I expect to win. I expect to have my hand raised at the end of the 5 rounds".

The Rest Of The Main Card

Former Oktagon champion David Kozma (32-14) will square off against Robert Pukac (18-13-1) in the co-main event slot, while the main card also features 2 matchups in the TIPSPORT GAMECHANGER million euro tournament.

Submission specialist Miloš Petrášek (13-7) will face UK veteran Mick Stanton (13-8) in an intersting clash of styles. Stanton, also a former Cage Warriors champion, looked impressive as he won his promotional debut against Kamil Wojciechowski last June and will be hoping his elite-level boxing can be help him advance to the quarter finals.

In the other TIPSPORT matchup, former EFC champion Mark Hulme (12-3) will make his first appearance under the Oktagon banner as he takes on Greek veteran Andreas Michailidis (16-8). Hulme last competed when he lost to Paddy McCorry on the most recent season of The Ultimate Fighter last March while Michailidis will be eager to get back to winning ways after lsoing his last 2 fights within the promotion.
